We believe that our giving and our offerings are an act of our worship of God. However much your heart is telling you to give, our promise to you is that we will diligently use it to extend God’s kingdom.  In addition, we want to encourage good financial stewardship in our members as well, and we don’t want to be in the position of encouraging Christians to use credit cards to incur debt, even if the debt is from giving to the church. So we simply ask you to use wisdom with credit and the money that God has entrusted to you.

But just as you excel in everything in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness, and in your love for us see that you also excel in this grace of giving. I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others.
