1. Love like Jesus: Love obeys Jesus (John 14:23-24), love sacrifices like Jesus (1 John 3:16), love endures like Jesus (1 Cor. 13: 7), love protects like Jesus (1 Cor. 13:7). Love does not delight in sin (1 Cor. 13:6). Love drives and fuels all kingdom activity. (1 Peter 4:8)

2. Unity: I am committed to preserving unity above my own desires, goals, wants, and frustrations. I believe unity attracts the Holy Spirit and glorifies God. (Psalm 133:1-3)

3. Commitment to honor: I will see others as equal value to my needs and self. Even in a person’s weaknesses, I will continue to see and treat them with honor and respect. (Roman 12:10)

4. Aggressive pursuit of humility: I understand that I am mostly blind and I am willing to passionately pursue humility in my life and leadership at Unite Church. (1 Cor. 13:12; Col. 3:12; Phil. 2:3)

5. Courage to have healthy conflict: I will work hard to resolve conflict in love. (Colossians 3:13)

6. Restoration and repentance: I am committed to taking personal responsibility to repair any broken relationship in my life to the best of my ability. I am committed to following Jesus’ instructions on how to restore relationships. (Matt. 18:15-17)

7. Passion for continual spiritual growth: I am committed to self discipleship. I will passionately pursue conviction and repentance to bring honor and Glory to Jesus and conform to his likeness. (Romans 12:1-3; 2 Cor. 3:18)

8. Committed to choosing joy: No matter how hard the circumstances, we can always choose to live in joy. (Luke 10:21; Psalms 19:8; Psalm 27:6)

9. Commitment to honor authority: We operate in authority when we operate under authority. We commit to honor those in authority over us and to actively guard against gossip and division. (1 Tim. 5:17; 1 Cor. 4:6-10; 1 Peter 5:5-6)

10. Commitment do all things as Worship: Worship is LOVE and LORDSHIP EXPRESSED through ALL aspect of our lives. Everything we do should minister to the glory and heart of God. (Col 3:23; Mark 12:30; Rom 12:1)
